A practical horticulturalist who has been designing gardens since 1983, Mark provides a garden that suits your situation and your wishes. Drawing on the great variety of Australian native plants now available, he creates relaxed, attractive spaces to enhance homes, providing colour and flower throughout the year.

 

Through an excellent knowledge of plants, their needs, and their availability, he can make selections which suit the environmental requirements of your property, with special regard to water efficiency, and to keeping maintenance simple.

 

Mark will visit your garden and review with you your existing plants, both native and exotic, advising on their care and helping you decide whether to retain them in a new planting scheme. Then, with knowledge of your garden, its soil and its aspect, he will make recommendations for suitable plants.

 

The service will generally take one to two hours, at $75 per hour including GST. Drawings if required are extra.

 

Mark is then able to supply plants and materials required, to provide a planting service, or to work with you to install your own garden, ensuring you get expert advice while keeping costs reasonable.

 

Mark holds an Associate Diploma in Horticulture from Ryde TAFE, and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Horticulture.
